About Thrifty Paws

Thrifty Paws is a charity pop-up thrift store for dogs, slated to open October 2019. It will be a brick and mortar dog-friendly shopping experience full of clothes for dogs of all shapes and sizes as well as home goods and some clothes for humans as well.

How Do I Donate?

You can send donations to:

Julia Morley
1735 E Carson St #120
Pittsburgh, PA 15203

Please do not send food, medications, or shampoos!

Where Does the Money Go?

All the proceeds from Thrifty Paws will go to Humane Animal Rescue, the largest animal rescue organization in Pitsburgh, PA.

We Need A Lot Of Clothes!!

To be able to fill a whole retail store with amazing clothing and other items for dogs and their humans, we need to collect A LOT of donations! Our goal is to have 1000 items to stock in the store by October, 2019. That sounds like a lot, but we want to make this an amazing shopping experience for all dogs and their humans! We’re starting early to give us plenty of time to get there. Please consider donating!

If you live locally in the Pittsburgh area we can arrange in person pick-up of donations and we’re hoping to have some drop off locations arranged soon.

Who’s Behind This?

This event is organized by Lu-Seal (and her mom), who you may know from instagram. Lu-Seal was rescued from Humane Animal Rescue after being abandoned. She was morbidly obese and barely able to walk. She lost half her body weight after being adopted and now she and her mom work hard to raise money and awareness for animal rescue and pet obesity.

You can reach Lu-Seal and her Mom at thriftypawspgh@gmail.com or at the Thrifty Paws Facebook Page
